The Solar Bears compete in the South Division of the Eastern Conference of the 22-team league. Last season the Bears posted a record of 28 wins, 37 losses, 3 OTL and 4 shootout losses.
Toronto has had previous affiliations with Reading, Columbia and Pensacola of the ECHL.
The Bruins on Monday refuted a report that said the team's logo in the locker room was roped off while Justin Bieber was in town for a performance at TD Garden.
